Weekend Pinup: Burqas & Bombs Edition

While we were busy hosting a 5-year-old's birthday party yesterday, many others were busy busy busy, making waves on the international scene.  In honour of the Jihadi theme for today, I wanted a pinup that was dressed appropriately for the occassion.  I apologize for recycling an old picture but for some reason, it's hard to find a sufficiently sexy woman in a Burqa...

~ Jihad Watch readers attended the pro-Hamas demonstration in Toronto yesterday and provided pictures.  Wendy also went and I was sorry I couldn't join her.  I am anxious to read her post on the event (HERE it is).

~ Pamela offers plenty of pics of the New York event.  Much larger but always the same flavour...in the shadow of the ghost of those two towers and the 3000 Americans murdered by Islam, thousands of nihilists cheer on the random rocket flinging murderers on the Gaza side while condemning the only country in the middle east that genuinely faces utter annihilation on a daily basis -- and still manages to be the most productive nation in a sea of Bedouin goat-humpers.

~ And while we all argue over who "started it", a woman in Baghdad reminds us that at least on one side, there's always a concerned citizen eager to help the cause.  Funny how wherever Muslims are involved, there is always a smouldering pile of bloody body pieces and a devout martyr to thank for it.

~ Meanwhile, Joe Warmington wonders how a Canadian soldier in a declared war zone, who kills a "suspected" Taliban insurgent gets saddled with a murder charge.  Good question.  I thought "with intent to kill" was the whole point of sending them there.

~ Afghanis wonder "what good" foreign troops and the elimination of the Taliban have done for them, without once realizing that no matter how many Taliban we kill, they will never realize true freedom until they shake off the one thing holding them back -- an oppressive, backward, nihilistic religion that punishes them for thinking and consigns them to miserable slavery.  That is something they have to do for themselves.
