Eco-tourism is one of the fastest growing segments of the tourism industry. What better way to bear witness for our planet than to travel to some of the atrocities we have visited upon it?
Imagine my surprise to find this wasn't an offer for tickets to Obama's inauguration ceremony.
"Eco-tourism"? Isn't that an oxymoron? The way that you save the planet is by staying home, not hopping on a jet, taking a taxi to your air conditioned hotel and buying souvenirs made in China, painted with lead based paint!
These people ever hear of a "carbon footprint"? Heh.

At least these losers are only going to places that are already nasty. It drives me nuts when the eco-weeinies bitch and moan about saving the planet, and then spew carbon all the way to Antarctica, or need to set foot in the Galapagos. How clueless can you be?
