You're not first, anymore. Your needs, wants and problems take a back seat to the needs of your children. I shouldn't have to say it, anymore.

While Mommy was shirking her parental responsibilities to deal with "personal issues" -- which miraculously didn't prevent her from partying with friends at Caribana last weekend -- little Katelynn was being abused so badly by the long-term family friend charged with her care, that the autopsy took 6 1/2 hours "due to the "nature and severity of Katelynn's injuries".
Mommy wants to know "why my child?" The answer is very simple...because absolutely NOBODY -- including her own mother -- made her a priority.
And now she's dead. Like so many before her and still some people never learn.

There are always so many people to blame when a child dies at the hands of an adult, but every single time it comes down to the parents of that child.
Not only the mother, who handed this poor girl over, but the father that nobody's mentioned. Where was this champion stud in his daughter's life?

Mikey ... don't you know that fathers are completely irrelevant in a child's life ... or were you missing the day that would gloriously announced by the feminazis. Oh, except for the child support, of course, that is still vital.
Talk about unintended consequences!
You two have my admiration for having chosen to bring children into this world, and for continuing to remember that you brought those children into this world (as in: they're your responsibility, not societys)

Oh pete...believe that if anyone understands the attitude that a father is nothing more than a cash cow, it's Mikey.
We just spent loads in legal fees and time, to remind his ex that he has the right to know if she's moving the kids out of town...before she sells the house!
Some women are just selfish and stupid. They don't care about anyone but themselves and then play the victim when things go wrong.
Lots of people make mistakes but far too many of them repeat those same mistakes, over and over.

I know the game, vicariously, fortunately. My stepson is in the same boat ... and everytime she thinks he has a few extra bucks, she goes back to court to try to get more ... even though she has a higher paying job than he does.
I think what pisses me off the most about the whole child support dame is that they spend a fortune making sure men pay, but spend not a second making sure the money is used for the child(ren). In fact, his first took great glee in letting him know that the annual payment went to buy new hubby a motorcycle. He's already informed child #1 that Mommy is spending her college tuition ...
